Modules are hosted on Articulate, a platform designed for interactive online learning.

Course Content

Each module in a course includes instruction, activities, and assessments for business topics.

Supporting Materials

We provide a PDF Course Packet of materials and hands-on activities that students complete alongside their modules

Access

Modules can be accessed directly online through the Step Into Business website or sent by Fileshare to upload into a Learning Management System such as Schoology.

Flexibility

Modules are also asynchronous so teachers can decide how and when to incorporate them into their curriculum.

 Assessment Customization

Work with program staff to customize quiz settings and data reporting for the following categories:
  • Number of Quiz Retries
  • Reveal the correct answer after a wrong guess (On/Off)
  • Module quizzes have unlimited retries and reveal the right answer when a user gets it wrong.
  • Percentage required to pass
  • A passing score is required to move on (On/Off).
  • Data reporting options

Data Collection

Step Into Business offers courses to schools at no cost as a service to our community. In order to track our program’s use and utility, we will only ask for a yearly update on how many students used and completed our modules. We will never ask you for individual information about students.

Course Descriptions

Marketing Insights

This course is designed to give students an overview of marketing concepts. Student design their own lemonade stand business as each module guides them through the phases of developing their business marketing plan.

Sales and Communication

This course is designed to give students an overview of the sales process. Students practice scenarios involving selling a bike and solving a transportation problem at home in order to practice their sales skills of communication, problem-solving, and relationship-buiilding.
